Trip length and purchase timing among GeoCover customers

This is a rounded summary of GeoCover's own paid travel-insurance records from 27 April to 30 September 2026. It describes customers of this service, not all visitors to Georgia or the national insurance market.

01
Chapter 1

What was counted

The analysis covers about 6,000 paid checkouts and about 8,500 insured-person records. One checkout can include several people. Unpaid and archived orders were excluded. We publish only aggregated results, with no names, documents, contact details, click identifiers or individual transactions.

02
Chapter 2

Duration of insured trips

The median insured period was about 10 days. Roughly half the insured-person records covered 8 to 14 days; roughly a quarter covered up to 7 days. These are policy periods, not verified lengths of stay.

03
Chapter 3

When orders were created

By Georgia's local calendar dates, the median interval from order creation to policy start was about 1 day. Roughly three in five records were created on the start date or within the two preceding days. This measures timing in our checkout, not the time of a border crossing.

Chapter 4

Method and limits

The figures use non-archived, paid VISITOR-family policies created from 27 April through 30 September 2026, by Georgia's local dates. Counts are rounded; insured-person records and unique checkouts have different denominators. Product mix, seasonality and GeoCover's audience can change the pattern. This is neither a forecast nor an official tourism statistic.
