The rule includes specific legal exemptions, including certain diplomatic or official travelers, persons covered by international agreements and international transport drivers.
Who does it apply to?
The requirement applies to tourists entering Georgia. The decree provides exemptions for certain holders of diplomatic, official, service or special documents, accredited representatives and their accredited family members, persons covered by international agreements, and drivers engaged in international transport.
Minimum Requirements
The policy must cover health and accidents for at least 30,000 GEL throughout the stay and identify the parties, territory, dates, risks, limits, premium, and payment. Georgian or English paper and electronic documents are accepted.
