A payment confirmation is not the policy itself. Open the issued PDF before travel and compare it with your passport, trip dates, and Georgia's official requirements.

Verify the policyholder and every insured traveller
The insurer, policyholder, and each insured person should be identifiable. Names, dates of birth, and passport numbers must match the travel documents. For a family order, check every person separately.
Match the territory and full duration
Georgia must be within the covered territory and the policy must run continuously from entry to departure. Check exact start and end times, overnight travel, and possible extensions. Correct the period before the current cover expires.
Find the risks, limits, and deductible
For the entry requirement, health and accident cover must provide at least 30,000 GEL. Also read the sub-limits for outpatient care, hospitalization, dental emergencies, and transport, plus any deductible per event.
Check assistance details and document authenticity
The PDF should include a policy number, assistance contact, and identifiable insurer. Keep an offline copy and do not substitute a payment screenshot. If uncertain, verify the insurer in the official register and confirm the policy status.
Warning signs before payment
Do not rely on a document with unclear terms, territory, dates, or assistance contacts. Passport errors, an unreadable PDF, or a marketing card without policy wording should be corrected before travel.
